Dave Dehal
GDC 70885
Dave Dehal qualified from Birmingham University in 1995.
He is passionate about Private and NHS dentistry and keeping astride with modern techniques. Dave has a Diploma in Orthodontics and recently completed his Masters in Orthodontics at the University of Warwick.
He uses a wide variety of techniques developed in the UK and America. These resources allow him to provide his patients with the beautiful smile they deserve.
Outside of clinical dentistry and my studies, Dave enjoys mentoring numerous young dentists and is presently working with NHS England on the clinical entrepreneur programme.
Dave enjoys a challenge and over the past three years has completed the Paris to London and Coast to Coast bike rides, and the Three Peaks Climb to name a few, raising money for charity in the process.
He enjoys family life, walking my pet Italian Greyhound, F1 and playing badminton.

Martina (martinafell.co.uk) has recently joined the practice after spending 16 years at College Road Dental Practice in Bromsgrove. She graduated in 2005 from Birmingham University with a specially recognised Distinction in Clinical Dentistry. Since graduation Martina has taught both undergraduate dentists at the University of Birmingham and postgraduate dentists/ Dental therapists within general practice.
Martina has a keen interest in studying dentistry and furthering her skills. Having completed examinations to become a member of the faculty of General Dental practitioners in 2007, she has also completed two yearlong private restorative courses with renowned Clinical Specialists.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but prides herself on the bond with her patients, who after many years in general practice she considers friends. She has a particular interest in rebuilding heavily worn mouths and treating nervous patients.
At home she is kept busy by her 10-year-old step-daughter, 2 year old daughter, two crazy Bengal cats and a rabbit. Her husband Tim is outnumbered by all the ladies in the house!
Sarah Church

I graduated from Leeds University in 1996 with Honours. After initially working in practice, followed by various hospital training posts, I undertook my Orthodontic Specialist Registrar Training at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this time I also gained a Masters in Philosophy research degree in Orthodontics. I completed my orthodontic training in 2003 and gained my Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons. Following this, I completed two years higher training in orthodontics to gain my consultant status.
I also work as a Consultant Orthodontist at a local hospital as well as working at Barnt Green Dental. My areas of interest are contemporary adult orthodontics and treatment of complex malocclusions. I really enjoy getting to know my patients during treatment and creating new smiles for them.
I provide a range of orthodontic treatment options, including tooth coloured braces, Invisalign and metal braces.
I am married with a young son. Outside of work I enjoy aerobics, running and family time – usually freezing at the side of a rugby pitch watching my son burn off energy!
Usha Murria

Usha qualified in July 2007 from University of Birmingham. She has spent 13 years working in General Practice as an Associate. Usha currently work three days at Alvechurch Dental Practice and works half day at Birmingham Dental Hospital as a Clinical dental tutor.
She was also an Educational Supervisor for three years for West Midlands Deanery.
Usha feels her main strength lies in her communication skills with her patients and colleagues alike.
She is empathetic to her patients and is able to provide a variety of dental treatments including NHS and private options.
Usha enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly crown and bridge work.
Usha is an Invisalign provider for the practice
When Usha is not in work, she enjoys spending time with family. She has two young children, who take up the majority of her time. Usha is an avid reader, enjoys cycling and has an interest in meditation.
Rebecca Aston

Becky qualified in 2003 as a Dental Hygienist, she obtained her degree in Oral health science with Honours and was awarded the Jack Harrington Prize for best all-round student.
Becky spent 12 years working in London and the South East before returning to Birmingham in 2016. She was shortlisted for ‘Hygienist of the year’ in 2012
Becky joined Alvechurch dental practice in 2019 and is enjoying meeting new patients and being part of the team!
Becky enjoys holidays in her VW camper van with her partner and daughter, gardening and running.
Lucy Buxton

Lucy qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2020 and was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2022.
Having worked in a busy dental practice in Birmingham, Lucy then gained experience working in Paediatric Dentistry in Cardiff Dental Hospital followed by Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in a busy hospital in the Welsh Valleys. Originally from Birmingham, Lucy is excited to be back in the Midlands after growing up in South Wales.
Lucy enjoys working with adults and children alike and strives to create a calming atmosphere to put anxious patients at ease. Lucy likes all aspects of dentistry and can provide both NHS and private treatment options.
In her free time Lucy enjoys swimming and is beginning to tolerate running but loves watching the latest Korean dramas!
